Goldendoodles need a lot of attention. They love people and want to be around you. My boy loves everyone who comes to our Bed and Breakfast, Book Nook Inn. He wants to say hello to them. I also take him to places like Lowes, Home Depot and PetSmart because they allow well behaved dogs in their stores. Since my dog interacts with a lot of people, I try to keep him well groomed. He loves a bath or a shower. He likes the attention and even likes to be blown dry. He also loves to be combed. I have never had any matted hair on him, but that is probably because I do take time to brush him out often.

My Goldendoodle is also a total showoff and loves to perform tricks for our guests at our Inn. He knows the typical fare of tricks, like shake, high-five, roll over,  play dead, dance, bow, jump through hoops or over a stick.
